In addition to the warm hospitality, it’s not just what’s conjured up on your plate or in your glass that counts: the sophisticated design and innovative concepts of the restaurants at The Wellem are inspired by the world’s trendiest cities.

MUTTER EY CAFÉ & GALERIE

Just like its namesake Johanna Ey during her lifetime, the Mutter Ey Café stands for a warm culture of welcome. This applies to guests, but especially to young artists from the Düsseldorf Art Academy. The gallery on the first floor offers them space for changing exhibitions.

But art is anything but unprofitable here. Homemade pastries and cakes attract local and out-of-town guests alike and go perfectly with the fresh coffee specialties.

PITTI – CUCINA ITALIANA

The Palazzo Pitti in Florence was the inspiration for the lifestyle of this modern Italian trattoria. Whether for breakfast, lunch, or an unforgettable evening, the Pitti team is dedicated to traditional Mediterranean cuisine in all its facets. And the original works of art on the walls make the culinary experience a holistic sensory one.

FRANK'S Club

FRANK’S Club is reminiscent of the Prohibition era, when alcohol flowed freely in the secret ballrooms of the Roaring Twenties in the USA despite the ban. The doors, inconspicuous from the outside, could usually only be opened if you knew the code word – a precautionary measure against the law enforcement officers. The allure of the forbidden has been brought into the present day with FRANK’S Club at The Wellem.

The bar focuses on original flavor profiles created with syrups, infusions, and bitters made in-house. Behind every cocktail is a novel, an artist, a renegade, or a story.

In addition to the unusual cocktail menu and an extensive range of spirits, there is live entertainment featuring the best of jazz, soul, blues, and bossa nova. With its unusual concept, the Stateroom attracts night owls from all over Düsseldorf and visitors from all over the world.
